A quick search on LinkedIn shows that over 1.3 million individuals call themselves thought leaders. At the same time, more and more companies are working with thought leadership as part of their marketing strategy. A thought leader is usually defined as an individual or company in an industry/field/issue whose knowledge and opinions are sought and respected. But can 1.3 million individuals really achieve this? The answer is no according to Johan Wetterqvist, Founder of the communications agency Spotlight.
