A quick search on LinkedIn shows that over 1.3 million individuals call themselves thought leaders. At the same time, more and more companies are working with thought leadership as part of their marketing strategy. A thought leader is usually defined as an individual or a company in an industry / area / issue whose knowledge and opinions are requested and respected. But can it really be that 1.3 million individuals succeed in this? The answer is no, explains Spotlight Founder Johan Wetterqvist.
